How Much Should I Drop?

I need everybody's opinions on how much I should drop my ride. I have a 2k2 Coupe. With 17" rims how much should I drop it?
Any spring and/or height suggestions?

Neuspeed "Race" springs will give you about 2.25' drop. Which would look great for your 17' rims and would perform at the same time.

2" is the way to go!! Any more than that and your tires might rub.

depends on the look you want...i don't know your tire size, but what i would do is measure the amount of space you have between your tire and the wheel well and drop the car that much, probobly 1.5 with the 17's....that looks clean.....if you want a bit of a tuck go 2.0....so it all depends on how you want your car to look.....
