Rep Power: 239 The previous owner must have driven long distances often. I bet that civic would get alot more miles if it was cared for properly in the past.
Highes milage car that I've owned: 89 CRX HF 211,000 miles on same engine and one new clutch. Still going......

Rep Power: 0 after reading this I don't feel so bad. I have an '02 Civic LX that I just bought a few days ago and it was hitting the 70,000 mile mark. The car (Carfax report) says that it came from Massachusetst. I am in Georgia. So I am guessing that is one reason its so high. LOL
It still rides smooth though.

Thats how my 99 was, when i would shift the tranny from reverse to drive ( auto) at a dead stop the tranny would shift and tug hard as hell. It would also shift hard when shifting from 1 to 2, 2 to 3 and so on. I wasnt worried about the tranny going out though, just didnt like how it felt.

Rep Power: 245 Where do you people GO! lol. Can you believe I've only had 6 oil changes...and thats just because I would pass the 6 months! Not the 3K miles. lol. The people over at Valencia Honda always make fun of my car for being the lowest milaged 02 Honda they've ever worked on. Last time I was there, they told me a man brought in a 86 or 87 Prelude for a 50,000 mile service, hahaha.
