I personally think the S model beats all the sedans around the price range right now. Well.. never know until I see it in person.

Great look... for a cheap ToyotaCertainly better than monstrous Echo which looks like a mini-van and Camry which looks like a Lincoln Towncar 1993
May be a good competitor for the Civic. With a MSRP less then the EX with about the same features (save the ABS and Sunroof) as far as I could tell. I can't believe they aren't gonna offer a 'sporty' version of the car. Maybe a VVT-i engine upgrade, would probably make it around 160-170 HP (Considering the Celica @ 140vs180). That would be on par with the Spec-V.
Oh well, Toyota's always resisted putting a whole lot of power in their cars (Supra is obvious exception), cause they figure, correctly, that not many go for the larger engine. I see tons of RSXs (w/o the S), and more Celica GTs then GTS's. I just hope they bring back the Supra in the near future.

front = nice
sides = sedan
rear = hurl
Why'de they have to preserve the look of the previos generation's taillights? They could have gone with something more angular. It would have given the Corolla some class. Props on the interior, but three point steering wheel is kinda weird on a sedan. 130 horsies is nice. No standard cruis control. Lots of options. Price is okay. I'de say that it's going to compete with the Civic, especially the sedan version. The coupe still looks better IMO.
