Crap...Someone Help Me Now...
what are they gonna do with ur civic once they give u a new one, its already driven and u've modded it and stuff. i think they'll paint it and thats about it, they could even say u damaged it and u got the door fixed and it doesn't match and they think its ur fault cuz u should of inspected it the day u bought it. so be happy theyre not saying its ur fault it doesn't match cuz u might of damaged it and tried to fix it. you really cant prove its there fault cuz u had the car for a while and when u get the car u go through a look over the car when u buy it to make sure its alright and u sign off.

Calling corporate would likely get you laughed off the phone if you suggested something like that. I'm not trying to be mean, but be realistic. You're hardly their only customer, just let them correct their apparent mistake and move on.
They can't say I damaged my door and got it fixed because I bought the car in 5 days after I bought it and they inspected the car for damaged. Also they sent me down to a body shop and they measured the thickness of the paint. I got back and the lady who was from honda corp was horrible. She was rude, and didn't want to give me any type of compensation for having to drive down 3 time and soon to be a 4th to get this car fixed. She said that all she was going to do was paint it and thats that.
I'm sorry if you guys feel that I should be happy with just a paint job, but i'm not. I already called honda usa customer service, they will call me back in 24-48 hours. From there we will see what happens.
I'm not happy about the car at all, I know these things are rare. But when it happens honda should take care if it in a timely fashion. Not the way they've handle my case by making me drive around to and from and to body shops and making me wait 1 month. They are going to get an ear full...trust me.

Its not trying to take advantage of a company. If a car comes to me that was suppose to pass quality inspection, with quite obvious flaws. I have a right not to want it and to be afraid of what might happen. Now asking for a SI as a simple trade is taking advantage but I am looking to pay the difference. Almost like I was trading the car in for a SI. Thats not taking advantage.

blah keep us updated....yea i noticed on my ssm civic the stock bumpers are darker than the rest of the body, but i think its cuz of the plastic material..o0 well hope everythin turns good for ya
Well Honda America won't do anything....they said they will try to consider giving me some type of accessories.
I know what your talking about the bumper and the body. I have the same problem do. Apparently this is normal, because its harder to get the paint to cue the same as on metal. Some are more obvious then others, it seems to appear easier to see on metalic colors.
Also honda america will just say it was your fault for not looking when you bought your car.

I dunno...the guy is suppose to get back to me. I did some searching and I'm going to ask for the wheels that are going for $115 on handaaccessories.com I dunno if he will give it to me or not, but hopefully he will it not I'll ask for something else.
