Here is a story you rio owners might find funny.
Now I know a civic has more power than the rio. That is why this story is kool. It demonstrates that a power advantage under the hood is not always an advantage when we break it down to the skill of the person behind the wheel.
I was driving home from work the other night. I usually have about 30 mins of highway driving to do. At one point I was in the left lane passing the slower traffic when this kid in a 95 civic ( probably around 18-19 ) Starts tailing me so close that if I had to stop quick he would have rear ended me. When I had the chance, I moved over to let him pass. Once he passed I got back in behind him and decided I was going to see how good his driving was. We were at a point where we were passing a wave of cars and had an open road ahead of us. Once I past the last car on the right I pulled into the right lane and floored it. While I was moving up I saw the passenger looking at my car laughing and they accelerated. I kept going and caught up more and more. There was a curve coming up and I had it at 190kph on the outside lane. These guys ******* out right before the curve and slowed it to about 130kph. I tore through the curve at about 160-170kph and smoked it. Turns out they got off that the same exit as me about 30 seconds later while I was waiting on a red light. I had a laugh at them and we sped off in different directions. You should have seen the looks on their faces. They were pale like they **** their pants trying to drive faster than 160kph. Wish I had a digi cam...haha

My First Quick Race!
Ok im running a 1998 Stock Kia Sephia
against a 1999 Ford Ranger
Stats:
Kia- 135 (Stock)
Ranger- 143 (3.0L 143 hp V6)
So anyways i was on Highway 12 coming up on lawler ranch Housing when a all black ford ranger pulls up next to me and revs his engine, so im like hell he probablly will take me cause it sounded like a modified exahust, anyways i rev back and nod, the light switches green and i get the upper hand, i have about half a car length when all of a sudden he catches up, i glance over and he's noddin his head in a cocky way, so i floor it, and within 5 seconds he's 3 car lengths back.....by the time i came to the last light before heading to stockton....I glanced down and saw i was doing 85...
Now im not one to race im more of looks, but that race yesterday made me hella excited to know i got a somewhat win under my car, i say somewaht cause im pressty sure that kid couldnt shift right or something cause theres no way that ford ranger couldnt of taken me in a minute....but damn it went the other way..
Im happy, and now i retire with one win.... ha ha
nah j/p...this makes me want to install new engine parts now....

i have a 2004 kia spectra and it is stock. so i try to race stock cars. like civics and sentras and i always beat civics but sentras i mostly tie with. i just wish i had the money to soup up my spectra because it has speed waiting to be unleashed

well first let me say i really don't like t ostreet race..i would rather take it to the track..(lights don't lie). Anyways i was on way home from taking my son to his mom's house, and was going down a fairly main road.. verred off to get onto the expressway and ahd to stop at a red light. Some a$$hole in a early 90's thunderbird..(supercoupe/turbocoupe) pulls up in lane right next to me and starts like revving the $hit out of his car. I looked over at my friend and was "No he never" and looked back over and kinda just laughed. I revved to about 4 grand adn let him hear a real tuned exhaust( instead of broken one lol) and as i did that i hit purge on the NOS. His girlfriend was laughing and than the one thing happened that really pi$$es me off..she threw the bird at me. regardless to say, light turned green i launched at around 2500-3000, tires screaming for traction and he starts to pull away...he shifts into ssecond as i do..and i start to creep up..i get like right beside him and he kinda does the wave thing..as if to say "bye-bye" and must have gunned it cause he jumped about 1-2 cars ahead. i was thinking this isn't happening, so i hit 3rd and just nailed throttle..(engaging nitrious) and the tires again let out few barks and i creep back to him. we went on through 4th adn than i am not sure but as i hit 5th, and floored it, i could feel the juice rush and was like pulling away. my friend waved out back window and he slowly dropped back til we got to about 120..and than i think he hit cut off or something cause it was like he dropped. after i clearly proved that an import is WAYYY better than a ford..lol i let off and just hit cruise at 70. i pulled off on my road and guy passes by and guns it in 3rd or something cause this POS was rumming about 6 grand and waves, is it me or do people really think once the race is over adn the winner pulls off that they actually win when driving past? lmao anyways thought i would let you guys know that we can rack another one up for the imports lol. and crazy i know you will have something to say,lol, so let it be something that can help me get traction lol. now i can't wait to get the 65 hp on the sephia..a real sleeper lol later guys.
