Hey,

I have an 02 coupe and want to improve the handling. The stock setup is way too "mushy" for me. Would the best and cheapest way to do this be lowering springs and better shocks? What is the stablizing bar you can get that goes across the shock towers in the front? Does that help a lot? How much would it cost to get decent lowering springs and shocks? Could I do it myself? if not, whats a a good price with labor? How much of a drop should I do and what size tires/wheels would look good and fill up the wheel well. Thanks for your input.

You have exceeded your allowable number of questions for one post. Hehe, jk.

People will probably tell you to go with Tein coilovers, but those might be a more expensive alternative than springs/shocks combinations.

You might also want to invest in strut bars as well.

I would go with 17" rims with a 2" drop to minimize wheel gap.

You could do it yourself, plenty of people have done it themselves before.

Like i said in the other thread
1) search the site
2) educate yourself
3) don't make any quick decisions

Would you go up to a guy on the street and say "I want to lower my car, tell me what to do?" Learn and then decide.
