What is the difference Between A civic DX And EX. Which one is more expensive?

not possitive on this, but DX - Base, power nothing. no Vtec, LX- power everything no Vtec, EX- Power everything, ABS, Moonroof, VTEC!

I wouldnt even bother getting a DX....you might as well just save up another month (probably) and get an EX. DX everything is base...the side mirrors arent even painted, no cd player, no power windows. EX or LX is the way to go. Both have power everything but the EX has 127hp VTEC engine as opposed to the 117hp DX and LX model. The EX has a moonroof too which helps a lot (if you like it). check out the honda website and do some research.

I have a DX with A/C, cd player, painted mirror and door handles, alarm, floormats and mud flaps for much less than a LX. I got a great deal at the dealer and my sis' husband is a body shop pro painter, which he painted my mirrros and door handles for almost free. I don't mind rolling down the windows by hand and my car is a coupe so only two locks to press down. No big deal. Only thing I would like is the ABS, but I'm mastering my braking techniques without ABS which helps me improve my driving abilities.

The dealer I go to doesn't sell any DX or Vp's they only sell Ex Lx and Si dunno why...

yea you should really go with lx or ex(si in canada)
unless you plan to strip everything off the car then it would make sense to get the dx
i mean you wouldnt get like factory lip kits and skirts if you knew you were gonna put on different ones later

Actually the slowest will be the LX, not the DX. The DX has less weight with same kind of engine, giving a small advantage in performance to the DX over the LX.

SI > EX > LX > DX
just save the money if you can and the amenities that the EX offer is much sweeter in the long run.
