How much to fill up!

Im just curious how much you guys are spending around the country for a tank of gas! Gas here in Dallas/Forth Worth is an average of about $2 a gallon! I spent 24 dollars on full tank of gas the other day! Man I remember back in the 90s when gas was like 88 cents a gallon! How are you guys managing? Im feelin it! I dread this summer cuz I need to increase my gas mileage by leaving my A/C off but sh** in Texas it gets fu**** hottttt!

here in Jersey, regular is between 1.90/2.00, premium is well over 2.00. Jersey isn't too bad in the summer, you drive fast enough, open all windows and sunroofs, its a nice drive. good luck

2.15+ in Minneapolis. I hate how us greedy Americans think we should have cheap gas while the rest of the world pays up the a$$ for it. If you lived in Europe, the current gas prices would be a steal. People glady pay $1+ for a 20oz bottle of water which just gets filtered. Think about how much work goes into producing that single gallon of gas, then look at the price. If people want to bitch about something, start bitching to coke and pepsi about how they charge $6.40 a gallon for Dasani or Aquafina. Alot of people would have plenty of money for gas if they didn't spend it on $hit like that. Sorry for the rant, but everyone needs to learn to put gas prices in perspective.

I filled up on 87 octane for $2.02 yesterday. I'm pretty sure that's the most I've ever had to pay. Good thing I only have to spend $15-20 on gas a week. While I was fueling up, I overheard a conversation between two people filling up their ginormous pickups. They both paid over $60 to fill up their tanks. So I don't complain too much about the prices.

How the hell do you compare water to gasoline? That's like saying, you spend $20 for one dinner so don't complain about your phone bill. WATER and GASOLINE are like apples and oranges. Yes, people do spend lots of money on bottled water, but it's a whole different thing. Water is for people, gas is for cars. People are not cars. That's like saying don't complain about water prices cause look at how much jet fuel costs.

I think I typically pay about $17-18 for 10 gallons or so and about 330-350 miles on the trip.

I think that no body in the U.S. feels the gas prices like Cali. The price here in north cali is always high. It has not been under $2 per gallon since I can not remember. I think the price is like 2.24/regular 2.50+ supreme. **** I remember when it hit $3/gallon for 91 here last summer. It will almost be sure to hit it again. I am just thankful I get 27 mpg and not 8 mpg like my ford truck got.....v8 power= Mpg

2.09 for 87

$26 to fill up the Accord 24 MPG

Sad thing is I'm looking getting a truck that gets about 18 MPG (Yes, I actually use a truck as a truck, something rare here in America).

Gas around philly is like 1.98 for 87 and up to 2.25 for premium.
