I don't know why this keeps comming up. Sure, Gas is going to hit $3 a gallon soon. But look on the bright side: We drive Civics NOT Ford Excursions. THANK GOD FOR THAT!!!

I just smile when I fill up next to a big SUV...

Life is good in a Civic.

I live my life $26 at a time.

yea philly is hanging around 2.00 +/- a few cents for 87. I drive 95% all city stop and go. So i guess tahts why i get a pretty pathetic 25~ or so Miles Per Gallon. This is also including remote start warm ups everymorning.

I second what you are saying, our values and perspective on things are all out of wack in America. Just agreeing with you, I don't want this thread to turn into a scuffle over values and what not!

Well, I pay $0.54 for a gallon of spring water. And I know exactly how much work goes in to making gas. You can not compare how much we pay to much Europe pay though, the supply and demand is totally different. One of things that actually keeps the gas prices down is the amount that we use (it's about the only thing SUVs are good for), so keep the supply in demand idea in perspective also.

I live in York, Pennsylvania and yesterday morning it was $2.09, then yesterday evening it was $2.13. Bastards. I honestly didn't pay attention to the total amount though.

Its about 2.15 a gallon right now in Phoenix.....

I've gotten to a point though were I dont even really pay attention to gas prices anymore.....I mean, Im going to end up getting gas no matter what.... so why get myself flustered paying attention to that skyrocketing price.....I've already got enough things in life that get me upset....no need to add one more.
