Is it just me or is VW seriously trying too hard to be like the corolla...??? Do you guys see the resemblence?

i liked the old jetta, because it looked like the car was built around the wheels. the new jetta just looks like a cheaply built car IMO.

I think VW should have gone for a sharper look. They're trying to go even further upmarket too. Reicher VolksWagen is what they should be called, rich people's car... I like the look of the sporty models, the GTi, and GLi, but everything else just looks odd.

i dont like the round lights. IMO the jetta should have angles, and corners. i like the way the GTI looks, but im eh on the jetta.

They really are. They're going to bring in a couple of new vehicles too. They plan on bringing a new cabriolet but it will be priced well above the old one. They'll bring in a new compact SUV and other stuff...

european car stylists tend to have strong engineering backgrounds, compared to other countries. Could be a really well designed car with looks being lower on the priority list.

People also tend to forget...

VW's are designed for the autobahn. They might not acclerate like a corvette, but they'll happily cruise over 100 MPH without much instability.

VW = Audi = Lamborghini = Bugatti
