u cant detune by reducing the bore of the cylinders...only way to decrease bore is to add metal and weld it than smooth it out...and thats a waste of time and money

who in the hell would do that
or to "destroke".......you could just use shorter pistons
you wouldnt use shorter pistons.... that would increase displacement. you would use connecting rods and they would be longer. but then youd run into problems with valve interferance and youd need a crankshaft that is less diameter in its rotating circle. or you could just sleeve the individual cylinders and buy new pistons to fit the smaller bore.
he was selling all his stuff! http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...&highlight=lsr this time, he was in the process dropping a b series in his car.

I want to see pics of the engine in the car because I thought that it was agreed that only the new Kseries engines would fit into a 7thgen without modding the size of the engine bay.

Yes that's my car and I work for AEM. Those photos were taken last August when we were shaking down the car and it looks quite different now. It has a full front air dam, a rear spoiler and a parachute to list a few of the changes.
We just shot another Honda Tuning article yesterday (Saturday). It details the new Z10/Barnes dry sump oiling system. Next month we are slated to shoot another article detailing the new turbo (Garrett GT37) & methanol fuel system. They should hit the newsstands in a few months.
Hopefully, there will be more 7G's in the mags cuz sometimes I get the feeling i'm the only one.

But to be honest, if you are going to swap in a B-series, mounting the accessories are going to be the least of your problems.

they dropped the displacement in order to handle the higher RPM range over 10k for the 30-45 second time frame for the bonneville land speed record and they won.
