Acura RSX!!!!!

did anybody else read in the new Honda Tuning or Sport Compact Mags (can't remember which one), they tested on the dyno an Acura RSX, it dynoed at 165 HP they added an Exhaust, (and damn it i can't remember the exhaust either), but I think it was borla(??), then they added an AEM Intake and dynoed it again and it spit out 21 extra HP..... thats 186 HP!!!!!!!!!!!

wow

I think it is borla also. I remember it was the type-s that dynoed at a disappointing 160 odd hp. I think every manufacturer is inflating the numbers of what the vehicles put out. But it does have an impressive 0-60 time. I would like to see the type-r come to the states or see the stats on it. I would rather get the civic hatch with the h22a transplant. But hey to everyone their own.

yes the stock power to the wheels of the RSX-S is quite disappointing because they use similar intakes and exhaust as the Base 160hp RSX.. so by switching the intake and exhaust system on a type S they can get it to perform as it should.

165 hp is about right. i think the rule of thumb is you add 15% or so to get the real hp number produced by the engine.
