SCRATCHED PAINT :(

Hey! Today I was getting out of my car @ Walmart and I accidentally bumped my door into a minivan... there's a tiny scratch... not really noticable at all, but i'm [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG] and I want it fixed!!! Any suggestions or does anyone know how much it'll cost?! the scratch is only about as long as: l <-- for real but i still want it fixed!!! THANKS!!!

go to Honda and pick up some touch up paint for however much it costs. Just remember to wax it afterwards... [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

It'll be whatever color your car is so long as you didn't paint it a different color.

well, i just got the car for christmas and i don't want my dad to find out, so what should i do? just take it up to honda place tomorrow and get them to touch it up for me? i really don't want him to see it.

i have a few scraches and chips on my hood, i f i do some touch up paint on it will it look different then the other paint cause i dont want it to be noticanle at all, I WANT THEM GONE... can anyone take me through the process step by step so i can get the best result. do i need to wax?? whats if the scratch is to big?? clear coat over it?? my cars black thats y im so worried bout it cause it stands out A LOT, plz some1 help

If you really want to hide a scratch, it's a lot of work. apply a thick coat of touch-up paint, then wet sand it down so it's even with the rest of the surface, buff it with some compound, wax it. But if I have to tell you this you probably haven't done it before and you might not want to try it on your new civic.

no touch up paint in my 2002 ex coupe, but i had a free cargo net in the trunk. i got my touch-up paint form handa-accessories.com for about $3

most don't come with touch-up paint, maybe that dealership did it as a courtesy, but most don't....i bought a little bottle of it for $6 when i bought my car. just go to a honda dealership.
