Porsche Cayman S
Looks like Porsche is releasing a new model soon. As they say,"there is no substitute". http://www3.us.porsche.com/cayman/pcna.asp
I'm guessing this is the "boxster coupe" that has been rumored for some time. Anybody have any further info?

Nothing works better than a Chris except a Honda.

I've heard of this. I believe it will be based on the Boxster. I have no further information. If it is a coupe, that would be extremely interesting, but it is also priced between the 911 and the Boxster, so it should be better than a Boxster. Yeah, this is the Boxster coupe.

it really will be interesting to see the numbers for that thing. i mean you can do quite a bit w/ the boxster to boost performance, and you still have the drop top roadster. but w/ this, its a hardtop.
i think its going to be a tough sell. especially if its more expensive than the boxster, since its getting positioned as being between the boxster and 911. i mean why would you want to get a hardtop for more $$ if you can get a convertible for less? unless the performance will be substantially more, but there really isnt much room w/o getting into either the boxster or 911 territory. theres only 40hp between the boxster and the s, and then 40hp between the boxster s and the 911.
im predicting 300hp for around $55-60k. i dont really see this thing selling too well though. theres no market for it.
