Rep Power: 481 My little brother and I were arguing last night about the possibility of some kinda FI option from Honda. I think there's a slight possibility. He told me that the Honda reps told him there's no plans for it. What do you guys think? Maybe a supercharger on an Si as an option?
i dont think honda would do that.
this civic thing is driving me so crazy i actually had a nightmare of it that i was at the show when they did the reveal and it was ugly and old looking and had a tuned down d17... yes a freakin tuned down d17... i was so happy to wake up

Rep Power: 304 FWD with a lot of Torque I don't think Honda will make something like that. Variable valve timing is hondas thing they won't turbo or supercharge. I heard the old Acura Legend was turbo though, but it was probabaly RWD.

the old acura legend i believe was still fwd and ive never heard of it with a turbo. nice cars tho
i dont see why they wouldnt put a torquey fwd car out. chevy is putting a 350 in the monte carlo with 300hp in FWD im estimating 270-290 ft/lb

Most FWD sport compact Hondas I see usually don't have a lot of torque but there still fast. So I'm not sure about them having crazy torque numbers. Maybe too much torque on FWD car reduces handling .

so what it really comes down to.. do yall think its really gonna be a coupe.? i really hope it is but my thoughts are saying prolly not. its gonna be the hatch and i hate the hatch.. WHY DONT THEY BRING THE COUPE BACK!!! aRRRG!..

Rep Power: 0 exactly.. because if they come back out with sumpn simular to the hatchback now.. thats gonna be a big disappointment.. i might as well keep my 7th gen civic ex now and wait a couple years for the kseries engine to go down in price and then do a kseries swap haha!! come on let it be a coupe edition si.....
