haha. Anybody know the numbers KMS's D17 was making? All motor and with nitrous. my turbo should be installed within a few weeks, and Im gonna go hardcore into trying to boost 15-20 psi. at the least. First step, methanol injection and thicker headgasket. Lets see what this LX can do. Ill get some high numbers eventually. Give me a year from now, and Ill be freakin quick. Ill get some nice vids of my tranny blowing holes in it.
. Id eventually upgrade to something that can handle the power, or have it rebuilt w/better sh**.
Here's another question. Anybody know what the fastest D16 is making? I would imagine after we have all the parts out for our cars that the D16 has, we will be seeing a whole new game for our cars. Cant wait for Crower to be finished.

at around 17psi even with rsx injectors they will top out thats what stoped cat last time i heard from geting more then 304hp.
you dont need injection with bigger injectors just need to costome build them.
also you dont need a thicker hg as long as your tune it right after 14+ psi then sure but your not going to be running 14+ psi to start.

not to start, hell no. only like 7. Cash isnt going to be a problem soon, so I figure by next year, well see what this motor can REALLY do. with no swap. If if just sucks, i will get a swap and turbo. I can always sell a fully built D17. I am going to try and shut people up from saying these cars cant do anything. With money and custom work, it can be done.

I dont think he could run very much boost. Nor use the nitrous safely while he is boosting. Maybe to help spool it up, but he has no engine modding done to actually turn up the boost, nor transmission that could handle much. Thanks for theinfo though. They may just be planning on blowing their motor.

Re: What is the fastest D17 EVER??
That was a salt flats car and not steet legal by any means. If you wish to revive this, you may want to clarify the terms. However, I anticipate Andy and Supermex murdering each other in here.

Re: What is the fastest D17 EVER??
have andy and supermex ever tracked there car??? also supermex i believe sold his car or traded so its not hi sany more i think. he has a mazda now...
Re: What is the fastest D17 EVER??
Ok let me clarify, wouldn't andyman97 have one of the fastest D17 civics out there. His car has by far the most impressive numbers out of a D17 I have ever seen. True big numbers don't always mean the fastest, but I would imagine he is up there on the list.
Re: What is the fastest D17 EVER??
andy and mex come here! we demand time slips
honestly the only thing i see andy and mex talkin about is how much power they are running and not how fast their cars are in the 1/4. i would def like to see timeslips! because IMHO anyone can have 500hp with money, but clocking at the strip takes a little more skill.
i used to be into the drag racing thing but now its autox FTMFW. skills > money

Re: What is the fastest D17 EVER??
hint hint guys there are other turbo 7thgens aside from the few that post on this site
and what does fastest mean anyway, more hp? faster 0-60? depends on alot of factors not just how much hp the motor makes.
