Yeah I don't get all of this "215/40/17" measurement stuff...i know 17 means 17 inch rims...what's the 215 and 40 for [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] yep yep i'm very new at this[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

i believe the 215 is the width of the tire and the 40 is the height from where the rim and tire meet to the top of the tire.

Yeah, with the size you state the 215 is the width, then the 45 means it has 45% of the width as the side wall and you already get the 17. Good luck and correct me if I'm wrong.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
