Hydroplained!!!
Okay so about 30 minutes ago (11:30 pm) I was heading back to my dorm and it had been raining earlier on that night so the roads were slick. I was turning left into the parking lot of my dorm, wheels broke loose, turned sideways, and rammed into a curb on the right side of my car. Its dark so I cant really tell how bad it is...but I know the front right tire is off. The top of the tire is further out and the bottom part is like tucked in. And it vears right when i drive. Do you think my warranty will cover this or do i have to take it to a shop? If so how much $$? I really do appreciate it. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
is it going flat? Like off the rim? Cause you might want to jack it, if it's dropping down. You don't need the weight on the rim if it's going to be flat by morning.
you have the stock tires on your civic? I know my old stock tires were junk. I used to hate driving it in bad rain. I'd slide all over the place, especially on painted areas of the road. Like the white lines at stop lights--- My wheels would always spin.

i pulled a turn too fast ( had a little too mucho to drinko [thats why i never D&D nemore]) phucked the rim up to ****, killed the control arm, sway-bar link busted off too, tire went flat, alignment of course gone. Total damages $1100 CND.
When it comes to your story, warrent will not cover anything like that, you should really get a shop to check it out, and also tell them to check the opposite side and see if your swaybar came loose or bent. Get them to also check the tie-rod ends Inner and Outter on both sides because presure could have been transfered when you hit the curb. This happened to me when I had to avoid a collision with some stupid b itch driving a BWM that did not see me on the road... what idiots !!!

This happened to me last year. I hit the curb at like 4 mph, totally sideways.
My repairs were 3100 dollars at Schaumburg Honda. I bent the subframe, ****ed the wheel, control arm, some bearing, the suspension, and stuff. I had to hold the wheel at 45 degrees from straight to drive in a straight line to drive it to the dealership.
At like 4 mph. Into the curb. I thought it was alignment. I was wrong.
but don't let me scare you or anything.

that sux man...if you still have the stock tires, i suggest you get better tires asap. I notice a big difference when i switched out my stock tires in rain and on turns. i hope its not too expensive. as a college kid, i know how short on cash you probably are, unless your lucky enough to have rich parents.
that just happened to be like a week ago. except i fudged up my axles too.... but newayz, the warrenty DOES NOT cover that so u either have to A) call ur insurance company and ask them about it or B) pay for it yourself, it will be probably around the 700-1500 range because you might have to replace your tire, replace ur stablizer, and your ground control arm. thats probably why u veer to the right because ur control arm has been snapped.

Happened to me a couple years ago in the snow.. I was dumb and kept my wheel turned, too! I should've gone straight at it and taken the cosmetic damage but I ended up ****ing my lower control arm and I got my link kit replaced as well.. It was about 500-600CDN for it.. Not as bad as I would've thought!
Good luck though! Hopefully it's not TOO bad!
