Rpms ???

I Just bought a new 2005 SiG Coupe and was wondering if it was normal for the car to be reving at 3000 while in fifth going 100kms/60mil our average highway sppeds here are 110Kms so my car is reving at about 3400rpms is this hard on the engine driving long periods at a time / is this normal

Honda's are high revving machines, so yeah, thats normal.

if whatever speed you just said is around 65-70 or so then yes.... its why i wish i had a six speed ... that and with a six speed the fifth gear would probly be more aggressive

heck, the last road trip I took, I drained a full tank of gas driving 75mph on cruise, and managed 39.8 mpg in my 02 EX 5speed.

I can't even immagine if there was a 6th gear.
