Maybe. Remember tho you need something to tune with like the vafcII. That would be the best. However as far as being worth it, it always helps to have the correct a/f ratio. I gained 2whp after dyno tuning. They add or remove fuel to make the curve a straight line. As far as being worth it, $300 for vafcII and $125 for dynotune = $425 for 2whp. Is it worth it?

Now auto is a whole other story. My modded auto only makes 100whp. So it's still slower than a stock manual. I think the whp between ex and lx manual is only 5-10whp. Not very much.

dyno tuning is not worth it unless you are tuning your car after a big modification on the car, usually new bigger turbos or turbo on a n/a car. the purpose of tuning is to modify the fuel supply map in various rpm to get a better a/f ratio and also allow tuning of ignition timing, boost pressure and other engine related items, provided that you have the modification to do so (stand alone ecm, vafc, etc...)
i am going to a dyno this weekend to see my dyno numbers, since it's 30 bucks for 2 pulls, but i am not going to dyno tune it until i get a standalone ecm (www.mrcontrols.com)
if you only have bolt ons such has intake, exhaust and header, those modifications do not make enough of an air/fuel variance (if at all) to justify the cost of dyno tuning
