wiper fluid?
wiper fluid?
so i was driving on q.e.w. on my way to toronto during the snowstorm last week and my fluid froze up! car's still new with original factory fluid. its obviously crap. I stopped by the gas station in canada and they have fluid down to -40 degrees celsius. All i've seen in the states is around -30 fahrenheit.. the wind chill alone could have frozen it up.
Just wondering if theres anywhere here where we can get fluid thats more concentrated? of course we could get additives but why spend more.

I've got Canadian Tire stuff in mine right now - the teflon stuff (yes I know teflon doesn't do anything really, but it was on sale!). Been using it over the last couple of cold snaps we got and no freezing at all.
the stuff i use is pure concentrate... the more water you add the less it withstands cold.... adding a 1:1 mixture is good for -32f but i dont even add water at all so im estimating about -60 f (i compared all the diff temps )
