dynamat xtreme removable?
hello everyone. Just needed to know if anyone here is using dynamat for the trunk lid. Im having rattling problems and Im going to get dynamat for it, but before I do, I want to find out if the dynamat is removable. Lets say I put it on then a month later I sell the car and feel like taking off the dynmat.
Is it possible to remove the dynamat after installing?

Maybe the cheap stuff. The xtreme is not removeable. That stuff sticks more and more as time goes on. Once you throw it on there, good luck.
The xtreme does work the best however.

It won't come off. Cheaper ones like fatmat do, but not dynamat. Where did you put it that didn't help. My sound system would be nothing without dynamat. The only thing is I wish I could take off all of it in the trunk cause I don't have a sub anymore.
You know I have read that sticky post about the dynamat, fatmat, brownbread, ice and water guard, almost two full times and I'm still confused about how you should go about getting rid of the rattle.

For rattle you need to put foam or something soft between what's touching. The sound deadeners like dynamat are mass loading products to reduce panel resonance (to make the stereo sound better, not to get rid of rattles).
