yeah - she sure could have. I told her over and over - "take me! take your dad, take somebody who will bargain with 'em!!" but she had to have it then and there so she got screwed. I feel really badly cuz she honestly didn't know - she went just to look at the 99 accords and they SOLD her this car without her doing her homework or anything. I guess you live and ya learn - this is what i told her at least.
Not really much we can do now since CA doesn't have any sort of cool off period - SOOO what kind of mods can I do to a VP!? haha whats the first thing ya'll would do if you had a clean, stock VP? (no engine mods, just ice/interior mods)

Well it's all your fault actually, she probably wanted to surprise you figuring that any Honda is gonna be a good deal. She didn't dispute the quoted figure or what you get for it. Most people's minds just go blank at the dealership if they're not prepared to negotiate or inquire. They just suddenly become all agreeable.
I'm trying to get someone I know to buy this Prelude I test drove, and LOL I hope they don't "surprise me" with a '99 hatch.

lol - its not my fault!! i told her time and time again to take me when she went. She tells me that the salesman didn't pressure her or anything - but im not so sure. They way she described what happened seemed too good of an experience to be buying a car. They offered her 14,500 plus tax - and she just said "you can give that to me for 14,300 including tax" and they ate it up. that was all she had to do so obviously thats still way above their cost.
