ok i know im probably going to get mixed reactions from you guys but i want to know if anyone knows where i can get a clear hood for my car. mainly i have a problem when i go to car shows and have to pop the hood, i think the hood being open ruins the whole flow of the car that i tried so hard to make look right. so if haters want to hate and say clear hoods are gay, go ahead, but if anyone knows anything let me know. btw, i already searched and found nothing.
Depending on what look you are going for, I have seen a CRX with the hood skin taken off and a fine mesh laid over the top of it. You could see thru parts of it but it still had the skeleton frame behind the mesh. If that make sense at all?? It did look very nice tho and at the time was something I`d never seen done. I still havent seen one since, but yeah, maybe you should try looking outside of the box and seeing what else you can do instead of putting a clear bonnet on. Good luck anyways!
clear hood eh? may be creative if you can pull that off. but i think you would have to get custom work done for those dont ya? . but heres a pic to give you an idea for a certain design.

i saw one in a red car in rick case honda back when i bought the car that was march 03 but since then i havent seen one it was all clar it looked pretty cool but thats the only car ive seen a clear hood in and i bet it was probably custom.

to be honest i love the clear hoods especially if the engine is done up real nice. i beleave the colors they come in is clear, red, neon red, orange, blue , neon blue, yellow, green, neon green, and smoke. the company euro hoods make them and if i'm not mistaken they do make them for the 7th gen. if i didn't give my s-10 xtreme to my sister i was going to buy one for the truck. oh yeah if people say its ricey they are full of **** b/c you don't see many around and plus it looks damn good when you have a turbo or dress up kit done to your engine
