Which car would you buy?
Ok, my dad is looking for a new car. here is what he wants: AWD, 5 Seater, at least 300 hp, 6 speed manual, convertible preferable but not a necessity. He dosen't like the WRX STI. Any suggestions?

Nothing works better than a Chris except a Honda.

RL or S4... I mean, I'd go for the RL, but the S4 is smaller and has a V8. I'd go for the RL becuase I actually need the backseats of a sedan, which is the reason for getting a large sedan, the V6 is the most powerful naturally aspirated V6 ever with 300hp, it's also a car that handles extremely well for a large car with AWD.
If he wants a convertible though, he should spend a lil extra and go for the S4 Cabriolet.

porsche cayenne. not sure if it comes w/ a 6 speed manual, but it comes w/ a 6 speed tiptronic. the s and turbo trims are well over 300hp.
x5. my friend has one and it handles like its on rails. that thing is sick. 4.4L and up has 300+ HP.
330xi is all wheel drive. then get them to put some dinan mods on it, or hamman, and you can easilly bring that up to 300+. very nice choice.
and of course, like many have said, the s4 cabriolet. i dont know how comfortable it will seat 5 though w/ the convertible. the regular sedan will seat 5 nicely though.

As already mentioned the S4, G35X, RL, and you might look into the Legacy. Tell your Dad to test drive them all, and don't tell him HP figures....Bet he chooses one that's under 300...
By the way, unless you look at the S4 Cabrio, you're gonna have a hard time finding a convertible with those stats...

S4. I personally like the 2001 S4, 260 + horsepower with a v6 and two turbo's.
but the new ones are nice too.
A6, if he wants a larger luxury car. Two models - 3.2 T 250 + Turbo'd or the 4.2 330+
