Getting an 2002 SS
Getting an 2002 SS
Hey in a couple of months i am going to get a 2002 camaro ss black/black 6spd with the hurst shifter. It only had 5900 miles on it and already has a corsa exhaust. I Cant wait! The first things im doind are putting headers/free flow cats/and air intake/programmer. so ill have over 400hp prob. it only weighs 3200lbs which isnt much for a v8. so im guessing i could get around 170mph at least.
I can't wait to see what people have to say about this....
As long as you like it. One question though....if you own a Jeep, are buying a camaro, why are you on this site? There are plenty of jeep/camaro sites that would be more helpful to you. Not that your aren't welcome here or anything, just curious.

I'm not a big fan of domestics but I have had the pleasure of test driving that exact same car. Every stop light I was at that car just was begging to be drivin. Every turn I made the backend would want to come out on me. Good for drifting. Lots of torque. Scary in the rain I bet.
NICE! i love chevy ... i am a chevy (gm in general) man before a honda man i wanted to get a camaro or a trans am ws6 but couldnt find one that was cheap enough so instead i got the vic ... i also had a jeep b4 the vic and another vic before the jeep lol

Good looking: YES
Fast: YES
Dependable: SOMEWHAT
Durabilty: POOR
Fit and Finish: POOR
My friend has had 4 Camaros in the last 10 years, the latest one is a 99 or 00- Z28, he bought it new and it's a rattle trap, and the interior looks very cheap. Besides it's a GM car based on a 18 year old uni-body design.
I will say though, that when his car was new, it looked and ran great, and was really quick, but it has left him stranded twice. It's the kind of car you park in the garage and drive on a nice weekend.
