sick and f-ing tired of this!
guys i am sick and tired of going on ebay and reading some **** like this. I mean this statement about ANY D - series is obviously false since the **** wont fit on our cars, with a D17! i think if every one of us wrote one comment to evey add like this on e-bay we could probably make a difference, i mean now i know, but when i was a noob i actually bidded on this last kit i listed and won, and had to go through a bunch of **** cause it was wrong, lets help our newbies and make a difference, LOL......

Fits any D SERIES MOTOR
This manifold was custom-made.
This manifold is for Garrett or Hybrid T3/T4 OR any T3 Flanged Turbo - 35 or 38 MM Wastgate Flange
The manifold is made out of SUS304 Hi-Grade Stainless to help disperse heat. This manifold is drag-race quality, and similarly design manifolds can be found on professional drag cars.
And since this manifold is tubular steel, it flows better than cheap cast iron and is less prone to cracking.
Super power gains will be easy to have with a Turbo Setup!

Yea, I went to turbo calculator and saw a d series manifold and asked them if they had plans to make one for our engines and they said that they already had one that fit. But Im pretty sure it wouldnt bolt up.
Not the same as the ebay thing, but I can relate

i dont buy online unless im absolutely sure that im getting the right thing and from a reputable seller. ive never had a problem w/ buying off ebay.
if you do your homework you wouldnt have such problems.

People will always falsly advertise things. It is up to the buyer to REALLY know their stuff before they purchase. Would you really buy it off ebay without seriously researching the parts? You should be going on to ebay already knowing EXACTLY what parts you need. Not finding out from the sellers what will work on your car. A large part of the blame falls on the buyer for not doing their research, but yeah...I agree, it sucks when sellers post bad info.

People don't like to list all the details on ebay. Makes an easier sale. People are always tryin' to find suckers...and there is always a sucker that ends up fallin' for it. Buyer beware.

Don't buy it, simple.
Sellers are smart, buyers arent.
There are too many stupid people out there who will buy anything on ebay.
Sellers will do anything to make money, who wouldn't.

There is nothing wrong with ebay as long as the buyer knows more about the item than the seller. I often buy from sellers who don't know jack about what they are selling. They have horrible inaccurate descriptions and misleading statements. As long as you know what you are buying you are fine. Its the same thing with a retail store, if your smart, your not going to go in and buy something like an HDTV based on what the sales dude tells you. Your going to want to walk in to the store and know which one you want. As long as you get the item shown in the picture on ebay then you can't say that it was anyone elses fault. Now if they post a picture of one thing, or a specific model number of something, and then send you another....thats a different story.

turns out i won that auction when i was first getting my info together, and right before the seller shipped i found out that it would not fit from researching off this site, so i put a complaint in with pay pal saying that the seller falsely advertised and i got my money back and bought a used stafford kit, i educated myself real fast about the whole turbo setup for our cars, and saved myself from gettin screwed

double and triple check the auction descriptions before bidding, and if you are still uncertain, email the seller.
