Wow that was a awsome video! That guy was having a blast behind that Lotus, he even let him take the pass back just so he could stay behind him. That guy was one hell of a good driver to keep up with a Elise, i've been on a track with one of those, i didn't stay behind it for very long
Man that was a great video thanks!

That would probably be the European model.
Got to love the Elise though... May be a bit funky looking but its one fun car.
Look how much more speed the Elise caries through the turns then the civic... The Type R may have a higher top speed, but the Elise more then makes up for it in the turns...
Note: the official top speed of the elise 111S is only 135 MPH... But it gets there real fast.

there were certainly long enough straight aways that if the elise had floored it, that 12.6 1/4 mile would be more than apparent.
it'd be like a Z06 pulling away from an RSX-S.

Its really hard to tell if the Lotus was pushing it, or was the Hatch just well tuned/driven... with out knowing what the two cars had done to them, or what experiance the two drivers had its hard to tell if the lotus or the Hatch was doing well or poorly.
all I know is that I wll have an Elise... In British Racing green, with lotus Gold stripes...
