misconceptions that need to be cleared
First, we all have civics and they are not going to last forever w/o major maintaince. Sorry to burst you bubble, but civics unlike the Accords are not built to as long as the 200k miles that some of you state. And the ones that do will disportionately be EX's.

How do you figure a Civic won't last as long as an Accord? Sure an Accord has a bigger motor (not necessarily better in terms of reliability) and more luxury features, but what does that have to do with it lasting longer.
Maybe you should enlighten us more oh great one, either that or quit talking out of your ***.

thats weird how you can estimate engine life on trim levels when there are 2 different engines and 4 or 5 diff trim levels, or are there 6? I've heard of CX before is that a 7g trim level? well either way.. IMO all honda engines will last if taken care of..

^lol, get your head out your ***, trim levels have NOTHING to do with reliabilty
and BTW, any honda will indeed last 200K if maintained, reguardless of TRIM LEVEL

I noticed on the link there is an EX "Special Edition" (2005)
that has the spoiler/6disc changer, leather steering wheel wrap, etc.. stock.. "unique rims" which I think the EX has better wheels than the Special Edition rims..

what makes you think a civic can't last as long as a accord. I know courrier driver with way over 100k in there 7th gens and I know someone with a 5th gen auto beyond 200k. Its a simple car, Honda's best selling car in north America. Its probably the car they put most of there effort on, snice it brings them there bread and butter. Ever seen the problems on V6 Accord. Usually higher end cars have more problems, since they are exposiong newer technology or are engineered more complex. I'm not saying always true but it is sometimes.

si-G is an SI in canada with the group options. Group options include leather wrapped steering wheel and carbon fiber look tirm. The G thing is diff after 2003. Anyhow it just means the car haas some options. I think in 2002 it meant you had ABS. I'm not sure on that last one.
