2000 si

i have 2000 civic si. ive put intake headers and exhaust. i was thinking about adding venom 400 system do you thinks its a good upgrade?? what else can i put that will make a noticeable change besides turbo or nitrous

i got the same car and same mods as you, my next step is turbo, i was thinking bout that, but im holding off till im turboed.

good results? ... get a new intake manifold, cams and chip your ecu, in that order ... you'll notice some bitchin gains

Actually, it was pretty difficult. Honda Tuning Magazine did a big piece to try and achieve 200 WHEEL HP and it took them alot of work. Those engines respond quite nicely to super or turbo. Check out your SuperCharger options.

I love N/A, i also love turbo, im thinking after winter i wanna put a Turbonetics kit on mine!!

Like i said earlier i think suspension is a good way to go, you can make that car handle so well. Or play around with a VAFC or sumthing

i raced a turbo si running 6psi when i was running 9.5 and beat him...he had no torque at all, thats the only thing, they'll make 277whp but only like 180lb ft

What about porting the intake manifold? That'll definately make your engine more torquey.

Just buy a new one. Look, there are plenty of suggestions you can do. It all depends on what you want the car to do. The B16 has a ton of options and by far, forced induction is the best option. You want N/A power, the B18C5 is the way to go. Personally, I would be making that Si handle like a car on rails. It has TONS of options and the car has some damn good potential. What's power if you can't corner? Just a thought. You have a great building block, go with it.
