It seems it wouldn't be quite that fast.. but if he has stripped the hatch then it may be plausable.

Turbo doesnt always own all man. Do you realize how light those EG hatches are?
Ive seen my friends EG hatch w/ b16a swap put a serious *** whoopin on quite a few cars from a dead stop and from a roll, without even crackin open the bottle.

The hatch was fast and all, but I really don't think the guy in the evo could drive it or WAS NOT TRYING. The thing is I think that if he was trying you would have herd the turbo spool up more even over the hatch exhaust. Plus if you notice the evo is not really pulling on traffic that is behind him. if it was just a k swap and no hondta the evo still has 100 hp on him even though the hatch weighs less it can't weigh that much less. If the vid is real it may have been that at a point the AWD does slow the car down compared to the FWD. Just my thought though

my bad I just looke and I guess it is only a 70hp difference each car being stock. figure that the hatch could weigh at the least 2000lbs that would make a 1200lb difference. I guess it could be possible it just seemed like they were not really pulling on traffic by that much, and I really did not hear the turbo spooling on the evo. So I just though that maybe they were just messing around at lower speeds to make the hatch look so fast.
