I’m thinking of getting a real messed up car cheap - like a salvage car that’s also old. So I had some questions about things that I don't know....

-If a car is rolled I assume that it requires major repair. Just how major is it? I know it would depend on how bad the roof is caved in, but is it ridiculously expensive, or anything like that?

-Where is a good place to get motors for swaps? It is easy to come across simple DX motors, but I mean like Si engines and such. I know you can get total aftermarket motors from JUN and stuff, but I know that’s pricey.

-Cars that come to mind in my search are civics 92-95, older Preludes, Integras, CRXs, Del sols, and Accords. #1 would my 6 foot 1-2 inch tall *** even fit in the CRX, Prelude, or Del sol (with targa on)?

I’m sure I will think of more questions, but I think these are my main concerns right now.

cars rolled have a good chance of having engine problems so stay away from them
another good project car that you can get cheap is a 240sx and there are alot of parts avalible.

Buy a built car! You can get great deals and redo what you want for way less money!Up my way a hatch with a turbo B18 just sold for 1500!!! Needed brakes and a side window.But that is one quick car.
