Civic Si Vs. RSX

I'm curious about what you guys think...Given the choice between an Si and an RSX, which would you choose, and why? (None of that Si comes in prettier colors crap)

I'm talking about the base 160hp RSX vs. the 160hp Si. They're fairly close in price

RSX

Its just a much sexier looking hatch in my opinion, but the si has grown on me as well.

I'd have to go for the rsx just because I like the exterior styling better. Plus, I think the rsx has a more elegant/plush interior.

nindoo has a spectacular aura aboutnindoo has a spectacular aura about
SI with the side skirts.

The interior of the SI is really nice. Cool shifter and better seats than even the type S. I think the final drive on RSX and SI might be diff, in the fav of the SI accelerating a lil faster.

Rare car might have better resale.

The Civic SI has a sportier interior check out the shifter and crazy seats. Even the interior color is racy.

Man, I should've gotten myself stationed in the UK, I would've brought a Civic Type R with 195 HP stock I believe? And shipping is free too for service members that is.

not to be a pissant. you should also check out some other cars in the 20k range. used IS300 has more potential than an SI or Rsx will ever have.

he was talking about the base RSX not the type s. he also said that they are around the same price. so he did mean the base rsx vs the si. they basically have the same engine.

yeah, but the question is which car is better, not engine. susupension could be better on the Si?

you can't go wrong. either way you're getting a pretty kick-*** car.

More potential as far as what?

The K series engines have quite a bit of potential as well. I would much rather have a new RSX than a used IS300, not to mention the styling of the RSX is much better while the IS300 is somewhat outdated.

Sexy new hatch > Ugly used 4 door.

Better engine?
Si engine is better than rsx base engine.
Better intake manifold and gearing ratio.

Hondata Reflash, new valve springs and retainer= Wonderful dairly drive.

Had same choice and i bought si over base rsx.
I would have regret buying lower model rsx because type s owns in every respect compare to base model.

But seriously I would get the rsx...are u kidding me the rsx look so much better than the weird *** lookin si.. looks more like a scaled down mini van that got rear ended
