Buy a Scion tC! Haha, same price and more features. Plus my tC gets 163 lbs of torque stock. Couple people got dynos and made 150 lbs of torque at the wheels stock...
But yeah between the two... RSX base for daily driver. Civic Si if your a gear head. Keep insurance in mind too. The civic will ultimately be less.

get a tC and boost it with the spare change.
Si, if you wait, will go to dealer incentives AGAIN to about 16.5-18.0k.
Rsx, nice car and all for a DD, but take it to the street and you will be embarassed by a b-series.

tC is nice, but it's heavy, and without lift its not putting that much of a fight against its competition.
anyways, back on topic... i would still pick rsx over the sI coupe. The coupe looks better than the hatch, but the rsx looks better than the coupe. Plus, even the cleanest stock sI coupe doesnt even look half as good as a stock rsx.

if your a performance guy - si
if you want something that just kicks *** in its own ways - base rsx
i would choose rsx because i dislike the appearance of the si since it looks like a minivan BUT it sure does look dam nice when modded with the right equipment. but same goes with the rsx..
let us know what you decided to go with and why

But on the down side, you will be kicking yourself for not getting the type s
you get SOO much for your money that it is definately worth it.
I don't understand the relevance of this argument, it is a matter of personal taste just choose the one that better suits you and your life style. You know characteristics of each so just choose based on what you think not what other people think. If you choose what everyone else thinks you will ultimately be unsatisfied.
