I think they would notice in about 2 seconds, the rear end in general of the 04 is very distinctive from the 02 and the taillights would stick out like a sore thumb

Doesnt dealership have cameras up on top of those light poles too keep watch of people like you trying to jack stuff? I mean if they didnt then it would be a good idea too add those camera then.

usually when i try to pull something shady like this something else happens to me much much worse. IMO it not worth stealing from someone just to get something you want and not even need. sounds like a good idea until you factor in all the bad that could come out of it.
