heres my situation. i cleared the headlights a while ago, still have the orange thingies sitting in my garage. the car was inspected by honda finance, theyre the ones that do the inspection and tell you what needs to be fixed before the car is returned. the lights were cleared when he saw the car. i have amber bulbs in there, so the blinker blinks orange.

i did not feel like de-clearing the headlights, and the guy didnt say anything. so should i bring the orange thingies in with the car or just leave them at home? im afraid that if i bring them, theyll know that i took the lights apart and might charge me for it. but if i dont bring them, they might not notice since everything works and is legal.

what do you guys think?

say nothing and it wont be an issue. Most of these guys don't really keep track of the small details.

I agree with djmota.. If the inspector didn't say anything about it then I wouldn't necessarily worry! Good luck!

If the car was inspected by Honda Finance, they should provide you with a report of anything that needs to be repaired on the car prior to it being returned. You have the option of repairing things before returning it, or not repairing things and having them charge you for it.

I leased mine and bought it out. Leaseing is good because I put $1000 down, sign and drive on my 01 EX. I modded mine and bought it out.

F leasing, I only put 100$ down and Honda Finance took care of the rest and that was w/ no co-signer. Figure out how much you paid on your lease and you will be unhappy.

BTW, leave the headlights alone and do NOT give them the lenses, not even in the glovebox
