Brakers AND Tailgaters beware... Hey everyone -
I know I'm new on the boards, but I have always been a 'proactive' driver, and up until recently, I always tapped the brakes on tailgaters - until I did it one day on a baltimore freeway, and the guy DIDN'T slow down, he passed me, and half his car was in My lane. After that, he was on his brakes so fast I almost rear ended him (try arguing your way out of that in court).
So, here we are , on a friday night with very heavy traffic, and this guy comes to a complete stop, and the instant his car stops, he's out of the driver's seat, and running towards my car. Now, I don't know about you guys, but when a 260 pound black man is running towards your vehicle, you don't really want to stay there. I ended up getting in an accident trying to get around him, and he got away, and I got f**ked. (Oh, and I was driving an Audi A4 at the time.)
So do what you like, but there's people out there that don't give a sh*t, and will bring the heat if you mess with them too much.

Rep Power: 0 Brake checking someone is kinda dumb seeing as how you dont know how they drive...if they r dumb enough to ride ur a$$ then they probably will be dumb enough to hit u...I had a guy brake check/slam his brakes on me when I was passing him. I was on him for about a second and started to lane change and he slammed the brakes luckily I noticed but I spilled my slurpee...so then I high Beamed him and he stopped in the middle of the street and got out so I took off around him...good times but brake checking sucks.

right lane 60-65.
no ****ing way im getting out of the way for some douche bag get it infront of me, esp since its the morning and traffic is heavy. the bastard would only close the 50foot gap between me and the car infront.
and for all of you that say move over, when im going 10mph-20mph over speed limit and u do that **** to me, i will knock ur pos vic off the road

Rep Power: 310 when someone tailgates me i usally slow down and **** him off. but the majority of the time i slow down a little bit, wait for the guy to try and pass me and make him get stuck behind the car to my right and take off.

Rep Power: 312 when people tailgate me ive found the pointing my 1,000,000 candle spotlight at my rearview mirror does a great job of making them back off.. even if you have your eyes closed... from 50 feet away you will still see spots...

70mph+ is fast on the left lane but people have emergencies (preg wife, late for job, avoiding police, etc etc) and want to hit even 90's just to get to their desination. if your gonna get pissy about someone @ss riding you on the left lane, i suggest not driving on the left lane anymore. let that incident be a lesson.
plus, driving on the right side lanes are more safe than left anyways. (in most cases)
