Honda is hiring

Well at least by me it is. I'm gonna go apply. Been at Whirlpool for 5yrs. Time for a change. It would rock to get the honda discount.

HondaSales is a glorious beacon of light

for sales or at the plant? hate to burst your bubble but most customers can get a lower price than the employee purchase plans.

Plant and how is that?
I've got an ex that paid super low for a TL. No way a regular person could beat her price.

most dealerships have an employee purchase plan that is X amount over dead cost. i have sold cars to customers at, and sometimes below, dead cost.

is the employee purchase plan the same for Factory Employees as Sales Employees? If not who would get the better deal? I'd assume the sales persons since they could make their own deals

I have done the same. If I want to get a better deal on a Honda, I would have to go to another dealership and act like a customer.

i think you'd save more money in the long run by working at pep boys getting a deal on oil and wiper blades. other than the lip kit, i can't think of anything worth working there for.

yeah i suppose you're right. but i don't really go to honda much for parts or service. but i guess getting my friends a deal on a car is pretty cool. plus i'd be working with cars all day

the best part of being a honda employee.... getting two transmissions replaced for free... getting free service (using the bays to do my own work whenever i want), getting cost + 10% on parts, 50% standard fee on the body shop, and a car at invoice minus 2 of the 3% floorplan holdback (because i can get the car off the truck, hence not using any floorplan)

thats the freakin' advantage. then again - my dealership rules like that... i mean i can get a 2005 TL for 29,000
