rsx-s or celi gts

unfortunatley i got into an accident and my car got totalled, fortunatley i have enough saved up and with the help of insurance im lookin atnow and im 05 rsx type s and an 05 celi gts. I have driven both and both r fun as hell to drive, they both have the 8k redline, i interior of the celi is fukin awesome, but it has a stiffer suspension than the rsx since the rsx is more luxury which i like also, i believe the rsx has a lil bigger aftermarket but its not all about str8 line, help guys!! wut do u think

I say neither... but if I had to chose between those two I would go with the RSX-S.

Both cars are nice. Especially after I've driven both too, it's really tough to choose one. Well, since I'm a Honda enthusiast, I would probably choose the RSX Type S over the Celica GT-S.

I'd go with the 05 RSX-S. I'm guessing that you're probably going to change the suspension anyway. Plus, the 05's have thicker front strut tower bar along with thicker front and rear sway bars (compared to the 02-04 RSX's).

both good cars, both take well to mods, and both have good suspension and power. just comes down to which one you like more. interior in the celica's is really really nice. i like it a lot, but exterior on rsx is a little easier on the eyes i think. but you spend more time in the car than outside. its all down to you really.

I'm sure if you post that question on a Celica (Toyota) forum, most of the responses will say 'get the GTS.'

i like the rsx a tiny bit more in all aspects except interior. gt-s is a little comfier. but the rsx is a better drive and has TONS more room for that turbo under the hood that a gt-s would be terribly cramped with.

They are pretty much the same performance wise. Just pick which one you like more and think about the future of the car. If your going to modify, go with the RSX. A bad note about the Celica is the crappy sunroof. I heard it starts peeling/cracking or something from the sun. Sounds like it's made of some crappy plastics.

BOth are very good chassis, and it will come down to you driving both back to back and seeing which one you like best.

You should have made this thread a poll. I would go for the RSX, myself. I'm in love with that car, and would have gotten one myself if not for my budget being slightly restricted.

like that other guy said, they're discontinuing the celica, you should never buy a car that they are about to discontinue. rsx-s if for no other reason than the fact that it is not being discontinued.

Go for the RSX-S but if you want to go Toyota go for the Scion Tc because the Celica will soon be discontinued.

Celica GT-S, if you want to talk about a car that'll handle way better than the Type S, it'll get around the track a hell of a lot faster, weighs a lot less and has wicked N/A potential (theres a user on this site w. his Celica in the 13s, N/A). Because they're discontinuing it only means you can probably get one for cheaper, just because a car is being discontinued no reason not to buy it, I mean, they discontinued the Supra, but they're still coveted as all hell.

i think i would go with rsx-s, especially if it is the 2005. but i also like the GT-S, you can't go wrong here! either way you're coming home with a kickass car.
