iknow this becasue my friend does paint like that and second u cant chrome dip fiberglass=the kit.. also. u can chrome dip an entire chassis unless you had a massive nickel/etc bath.. it is paint.

Definitely paint, impulse explained the process to me. Not sure of the paint brand though...the only way to find that out would probably be to call the paint shop that did it. It's painstaking work, with many different components. Not like normal paint.
