i was just wondering what the "RS" stand for?? some ppl are telling it's "racing sedan". if so why are ppl putting the "RS" symbol on coupes.....unless the "RS" meant something different...

just kidding. what do you mean RS for? For Mitsu, as far as the EVO goes, it means "Rally Sport" or something to that effect. Basically, it's a stripped down EVO to save on weight and money

he means the civic RS/RS grilles.. I have no idea wut it means, is RS a trim line? I dont keep up on things that arent avaliable to me, all im firmiliar with is DX, LX, EX since those seem to be the most common.. I know theres also HX and CX, but ya know.. :P

These were actually released on the Japanese domestic market RS civic. The RS (stands for road sailing) was only equipped with the EB1 motor but with the twin Keihin carbs and a factory 4:2:1 exhaust manifold managed to squeeze out 70hp (25hp over stock). If you want to keep the motor as standard as possible but want more power then look no further than grabbing the crank and rods out of an EN/EJ 1300 engine.
