Sadly, i also would like to blame the cops for stunts like those. Here in dallas, most {drag} racing occurs after dark in indutrial areas which no innocents are ever driving through. The cops have started to block people in and arrest people; some people online say take it to the track but if the closest 1/4 mile track is 50miles{from dallas and most racers don't live in dallas to begin with} away $15 bucks to race and about 75 minute drive, i mean comeon. more to the point, alot of these kids will still race but won't do it where the cops expect it. This is when i started seeing races right on public roads with regular folk driving down them and not all of the races are at night anymore. infact, the other day- i heard three honks and heard some domestics racing. they left in five minutes so no point in calling the cops at all.

atleast before, it was only us on industrial middle of nowhere roads, now the more & more are racing on highways and residential roads.

The shop he works for also does alot of work for Honda-Tuning Magazine. I see his mug in the pictures once on a while. I found so much wrong with that video. It just pisses me off to no end that cops, families, even aftermarket companies themselves warn everyone NOT to street race and tell us to go elsewhere. Where is this ELSEWHERE they speak of? If families aren't pissing and moaning about speeding drivers, they're pissing and moaning about a company that wants to put up a race track because they might hear loud noises.

Now, I'm not a street racer. I might be if money were no object, but I think in this instant, it's a good thing I don't have a fast car. I personally would NEVER endanger someone elses life on the higway like those guys were doing. That's plain old selfishness. That guy Greg is an extreme case in my opinion. Get us a race track. Get us a place to do what we want. Theres worse hobbies out there then building cars so how about a little help F****RS!!

Also, they talk about us like we are 5 years old and are influenced by VIDEOGAMES!! I mean what the hell !!?? You insult my intelligence when you say I want to acheive a more realistic video game by street racing. I didn't feel the need to drive fast the first time I saw F&F. I sincerely hope you didn't either. They say "TALK TO THE PARENTS!!" Guess what ladies and gentlemmen, we are in a large and growing scene. We are going to grow up and move out from our parents homes. Their rules need not apply. At 24 years old, I doubt I'm going to listen to a speech from mom and dad about driving the legal limit. WHATEVER.........just a little ranting I guess. What do you think..........................................

They mentioned that kids who grew up in video games and f&f movies are gonna get their drivers licenses. Now that worries me. These are kids who have seen the movies, play the video games, and now they are coming out to the road with no experiences and full of fantasies in their minds.

Those people in the their home videos are just fuucking idiots. Did you guys see that EG hatch just forced the 7thgen sedan to swerve to the side so that he can pass other cars? They think they have skills but actually they are just complete retard. Snaking thru a 65 mph traffic at 120+ mph and squeezing in between 2 cars in the middle of 2 lanes and driving on the shoulder is just mindless. Putting innocent people at risk is a big no-no.

true, the talk to parents bit won't work at all. why do u say? If the kid is already going out/sneaking out at 10pm and not returning till 2am then all is lost by that point. Atleast they are not out dealing drugs, participating in gang activities or committing serious crimes.

Also, at our races, the kids end up leaving much better off than when they came in. They are more knowledgeable and for the most part, good people. They get out there and see how racing is very unlike what is seen in tekademic videos. Now if they were to go to a club blasting rap about being a gangsta and all that; i just don't wanna imagine how bad the wannabe situation can get.

I think this clip really only showed a small portion of people racing....the idiots. First of all, how many people out there driving these cars really have "300-400" hp? Contrary to what the dude says in the video, its not "easy" to obtain that type of power in these cars. Would people agree that for the most part, the racing going on is ricers with 140 hp civics at stop lights seeing who can get to 60mph the fastest? So there are a few idiots risking other peoples lives, it doesn't mean everyone with a modified import is crazy. This has been going on since cars existed. I see nothing new here. Perhaps I am wrong, but thats just my opinion.

i have don crazy stuf like that when i drive but only wen im in a hurry never racing other cars and most important by myself in the car ive seen so many accidents due to kids racing cars that unless is a desserted road in the miidle of the night i never race anyone

16 year olds that just got their licences need to learn that movies are movies and games are games speeding is dangerous no matter how experienced you are. get to know your car really well before you start pushing it to the limit and being an ******* in the streets doesnt impress anyone in fact it shows how inmature and stupid you are

racing is fun and street racing is the best but if you street race know what you are doing and be aware of the consecuences

video games only put speed dreams in the heads of stupid people... i played THOUSANDS of hours of excitebike when i was a kid.. first time i got on a dirtbike it scared the crap out of me and i have not touched one since...

and ive beaten every gta that has come out.. it never made me want to steal cars... sure it made me want to shoot people from the top of a building while throwing molotov cocktails... but with the exception of that one time i never did it...

guess what, there was a street racing accident on saturday night and it was on the highway {were dallas cops are never present}. so some innocents could have gotten hurt bad in that case and all the cops did manage to do is make them change venues. Congradulations.

everytime i think about getting a project car to build, i see a video like this and it kills the idea. if i had a fast car and someone challenged me i know i would get caught up in the heat of the race and pull some crazy **** like that and end up getting my license taken away, higher insurance rate, car taken away, all kinds of fines and tickets to pay and maybe worse. maybe its a good thing i have an automatic, lol.
