hey, i heard my neighbors looking at a new used car that their full grown daughter and son in law got. THey wanted to check out the sound system. next thing i knew, i had a classical music concert going on outside my house!!! ERRGGGHHH! i didn't call the cops. so why is it when people play classical music loud as f***, no one calls the cops, but when someone plays music with a lot of bass, the cops show up from miles around???

First of all, you stupid kids have no fuking respect for people and it's *******s like you that ruin it for everyone else. I had the same car driving by my house every night the same time, about 12:30 AM. lets just say he doesn't do it anymore. there is a time and place for it, on the highway like mystic said or at a competition. its not about "showing off" your stereo systems. Its about be considerate to the people around you. Don't go around calling everyone old foagies, because to tell you the truth, most people on this site arent. I'm 19. I'm not trying to have the whole neighborhood looking at my house with binoculars later on so that they can call the cops and get even. I'm just not that dumb, and a lot of other members on this board realize this as well. If you want to live longer, then you'd try to not have a **** load of people (like a neighborhood) looking to screw you in a heartbeat.

Are you serious? I can't even begin to say how stupid this is. I'll admit we may be going a bit hard on the guy, but someone has to tell him what he thought was cool really isn't as badass as he thought. Thats fine, let him blast his music. He'll get what he deserves eventually. The world has a funny way of taking care of these things on its own. I propose we drop this subject.

I turn my stereo down when im in my area. yes i have a wicked 2 way pager alarm but still, dont want ppl knowing what i have in my car. never know who's watching.

Nice try. Check out most of the guys on this site who'd agree with us. Check out our cars. A lot of us have systems you'd probably have to work an entire year for. That doesn't, however, mean that we go and advertize our **** to everyone in our neighborhoods.

just a lill thought from what "the book" says so when its thrown at ya and you have fines to pay just remember you read the law rigght here...and ya i do bump my system but turn it down when its needed, some of us just have respect for others.

not everyone that is bitching has a lill sub or no sound system, it all just comes down to being a lill respectful to others, why do ya think we cant get any respect from people just because of the cars we drive, i catch so much slack from people cuz i drive a "rice rocket" we cant get any respect cuz we do stupid things like this and ya im guilty of it as well, we tear up the streets and play loud music but sometimes we have to grow up a lill and understand.

i used to slap my **** like 70%-80% volume which was pretty loud when i had my beats. man, everywhere people are playing their stereos in their cars all day and all night, doesnt matter what time. maybe it depends in what neighborhood youe going thru or where you live? =|

but you cant hate the cop for warning you. hes nice of to let you go without a "amplifed devices" ticket (which i got ) but be careful and think about others than not just yourself when driving.

this thread is hilarious...the only time my system isnt up decently loud is when im in my neighborhood...SIG said it pretty good and I dont want people in my neighborhood callin the cops so I do turn it down but one pass down a street at random (correct me if it is daily) with the system up shouldnt **** people off....secondly I think the whole point of his post was to showoff that his system could shake windows so give him the props he deserves for a system that hits that hard and lay off

I personally am quite considerate when it comes to residential. I dont really give a crap if someone comes rolling up in my hood with their system tweaked to the max. Shjt if i hear that in my house, im running outside to see what they got!

I have 51" of cone space and 1500 watts. I can pop my windshield off with the right frequency. I've made my ears bleed. I can set off most car alarms from about 300 feet away. I can rattle things in my friends cars when they are behind, infront, or next to me on the road-while moving. I'm 20 years old. Do I play my stereo at full volume in residential areas to draw attention to myself? No. I have respect for other people, and I dont want my stuff stolen. Someday you'll realize what most of us are talking about.

1st off -2am???? It was 2 in the afternoon.
2nd-Yeah I have my system loud sometimes but most of the time I do have respect....so don't tell me to "grow up"
3rd-I wasn't "showing off" my system, I was just listening to my music...
4th-how did my sex life get into this???? That makes alot of sense...how bout we grow up on that one bud

Thats the part I don't get...I don't drive by that streeet every day...it was at random, i think he may be stretching the truth a little bit saying there was 4 complaints within at like 3 minute span
