Response from LexBoy

ive been thinkin......our cars cannot compete for shietz with other cars like the celica GT or base Rsx or even the freaking focus
it freakin blows
i'm starting to like the new si juss for the engine and yet i feel like the nissan se-r spec v is a much better freaking engine than the new si
the spec v has 175 hp for under 19G's
i think honda is trying to rip ppl off freaking 120 hp for 17G's and shietz it cant compete with anyhthingText

so anyways, i though it was freaking hilarious from all the responses i got
they really think that the civic is a fast car
i mean.......it is a good car but...............not fast

and again, civic is the most gas saving above all car u mentioned, not to mention the specV have a 2.5L engine, which eat gas alot, and its a NISSAN, u gotta pay more to maintain the car and it will break down more easily than a honda, focus i dont even have to say about maintainence, as for celicaGT, its as good as a civic in maintainence part, just a little bit eat more gas than a civic, but it cost 3k more than a ex, and the GT have less options, and 2 car perform very very close

The Nissan's my friends have had have all been pretty reliable. I wouldve taken a Maxima over my Civic had I been able to afford it.

And heres my quote which will be repeated again "Its stupid saying that kind of $hit on a 2k1CIVIC WEBSITE, you're just asking to be flamed!!!"

dude, I didn't respond to the last thread, cuz everyone else pretty much covered it.

I dont see anyone responding back saying the car is fast. if you limit your terminology and vocabulary to words like "fast" to describe a car... then... I duno, you need to read more or something. heh.

and get it straight, there's no 120 hp civic... its 127. and getting it for 17 G is a bit steep too.

You think the Spec V engine is better? What do you base that on? The amount of horsepower it produce? Give me a break. (Now I'm not saying the Spec V's engine sucks or anything.) Learn something bro. If horsepower or torque is all that matters in an engine, you'll see people running around with the big 5.0 everywhere. (again, not saying the big 5.0 sucks)

you dont even know how to seperate different class of cars. people kept on going about the civic being an economic car... that means its not fast, get it to your head. sheesh.

no one really thinks the civic is a fast car... I think its okay, my car is average, it can take out some other econo box... ie: like a focus. the fastest 7th gen civic (except the Si) can take out the fastest focus... no doubt about it in my mind.

if u think the nissan se-r is better than an Si, then get it... but please, dont base ur buying decision on horsepower alone this time. thats nuts. they're two different cars really. although both probably count as sports compact, obviously the spec-v's got a lil more room.

I duno what else to say dude, you need to read more reviews or something. all these informations are out there, dont buy the wrong car this time and complain about it to another crowd.

Lexboy's right. Nissans are kind of crappy after a few years of wear. I had a Nissan Sentra SE-R before I bought my Civic and that car is always falling apart. I love the SR20DE engine and no D17 or even a B18 could compare... but I hate it when the CV joints wear out prematurely, as well as the starter, alternator, brake lines, and the driver side door hinges. If you want a car to get you from point A to B with a little pep and sips gas, keep the Civic. If you want to kick some @$$, just go with a car designed to be faster...

Lexboy....think you better read you responses again...

Nobody was claiming the Civic is a fast car...we all know that...

What they said is that it is very competetive with other cars in it's class...also that the 2k1 has many more aftermarket parts out than others in its class...that's all that was said...

But anywho, go buy your fast car and enjoy it...just don't whine about your current one here...
