how about the vtec in the insight? cuz the insight is 1 liter, 3 cyclinders and 12 valve vtec.

That is the Honda City and its only available in South East Asia and Australia. Its 1.5VTEC engine is powered by 8 sparkplugs.

God I've always loved the way the valve cover on the engine of the City looks...

Oh, and didn't Mugen swap a K20 into one of those before? Or was that a different car? A Jazz?

Mm... the Civic hatch over in Asia uses some 1.5 VTEC II dont know what it means, but I saw it in a Best Motoring vid.

The City/Jazz/Fit are basically the same car. The City comes in only sedan form and the Jazz only comes in hatch form. while the Fit coems in both hatch and sedan. Just like the Civic and the EL. Mugen did a swap on the 5door Fit in japan.
