Im going to race a stock Dodge Neon SOHC Rt 5 speed over the weekend
and I was wondering if any of you all have raced any Neon Rt's and what are my chance's
of beating him Thanks

bahh according to road & track the RT only does 0-60 in 7.9. which is crappy for the power it has, some publication managed that in our car no? so with nos, it's bye bye neon.

o. didnt see u have nos, i dont think u need to use it on the R/T unless that neon is heavily modded

try it without the spray for awhile.. if it looks like he's pulling ahead of you, spray it I guess?

like everyone else says though... you should be able to take him.

take it to a track or something man. or keep it safe, middle of no where or something.

He will hand you your _ass if you dont use your NOS. They run low 15's in the 1/4...you would run low-mid 16's stock.

get out of the blocks good......u just have to learn that more.
get from first to second gear as cleanly and quickly.....im pretty sure u'll be ahead of him with ur mods without even getting close to using ur nos.

Wierd...they have 150 hp and 130 ftlbs of torque??
My friends 97 neon runs low 15's and its a Sport model, only 132 hp.

man i raced a R/T before its smoked the $hit out of me it was stock but i have AEM CAI and Pro Performance Exhust with 2.25 inch piping and it kicked my [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG]
