S2000 Engine + Ae86 = Tighter Pants!
Dam who else has seen the new issue of Import Racer? They swapped an F20C into an AE86! it was one of the hottest ideas I have ever seen. I know now that I have a dream of oneday doing this same swap. They also had a CRX with a K20 swap in it, all motor with individual tb's running 11's!

i couldn't find any engine shots but i'll search for some.
and the ae86 isn't an old school supra (they do look alot alike though) Its the 85-87 Toyota corolla GT-S. Very hot car but tough to find now adays

AE86 = Hachiroku. Toyota Tuerno. Just watch Initial D. You'll understand.

You can get the same car here in the states. It's the 83-85 Toyota Corolla GT-S. Should have the 4AG motor in it IIRC.

No one said you couldn't swap a s2000 mototr in. Just a matter of how much you want to pay. need custom mounts wiring harness axels custom bracket to hold the RWD tranny and a way to swap out the rear suspension to accomidate the differencial ect... but it is possible. just might not be worth it. But how hot would our civics be RWD!

well i checked the site of the shop that made that car and I can't find any engine shots but they have to be one of the most innovative shops i have ever seen. They Own ae86'. Whats wrong with theese pics?

Nope, Those are two different cars... it's either an AE86 Sprinter Tureno or an AE86 Corolla Levin..

I'm not too sure. But it's black-topped, not red-topped. I think the red tops were only in the S13, but not too sure.

I'd need a way more up-close-and-personal shot of the bay to tell what motor it really is.

If that sr20 has been worked on it's probably an S13 blacktop. The heads on later sr20's are not the easiest to get power out of..

I saw an article about an AE86 with "SR20DE-T" engine in it, now i am sure that if you have some extra cash, it can make 400+ HP.
