Question about my 04 Civic

I have a 04 Civic Coupe with 1800 miles.
When driving around town at normal speeds in 3rd gear, when I get to about 2900 RPM's I notice momentary glitch in the power train, Like one cylinder missed a beat for one second. If you were a little old lady (or my dad) you wouldn't notice it. It doesn't seem like it something wrong with the car just the car doing something like a pump clicking on or off at 3000 rpm's in 3rd gear.

Does anyone know what this is?

Yeah Is It When You Are Cruisin Then Step On The Gas? It Feels Like The Car Takes A Couple Secons To Realize That It Has To Accelerate... I Have The Same Problem I Dont Really Pay Attention To It Because It Doesnt Happen That Often. I Would Say Take To The Dealer And See What They Say

Well i happens when my foot is at quarter throttle and I don't move it. If I'm accelerating slowley then it happens at 2800 RPM's and if I'm punching it it happens at 3100 RPM's.

And it doesn't do it all the time, just random times, and I don't think someone in the passenger seat would feel it.

Oh and another thing, does anyone know what the turbo style noise that is coming from under my hood. I think it is coming from the transmission but I'm not sure. also another thing that sounds like it should be there I just don't know what the slight wine is coming from.

That maybe where the randomness is coming from. Does the AC pump change gears or something at higher RPM's??

Do ya have an EX? If so it could be the Vtec lobes on ur cam engaging. I've sometimes noticed this on my car. Just figured it was that. Other wise it's got almost 40,000 miles problem free

my a/c makes some whining noise when accelerating and i think the a/c motor has a clutch that kicks in when it needs more cold air. So your car can be going at steady speed on a flat road and the engine would jerk a little from time to time because the a/c kicks in.

I dunno if it's just me, but who else on here never runs the A/C cuz it robs you of sooooo much power. Only time i ever use it is whenever i need to use defrost. Other than that i'm always cruisin with the windowed cracked or down. Even when it's COLD
