vin number checks

does anyone know where i can go to get a completly free vin number check... carfax says its free but thats a load of crap... so can anyone help me out?

you can run a basic search on carfax for free. it will only tell you how many times the vin appears in their system, but each of those times can be just an inspection or it can be a serious problem with the car.

if you give me the vin, i might be able to run a carfax for you...if i still have my account active.
