05 Rl

The 05' RLs rolled onto the Acura lot today. The MSRP is yet to be determined and everything in that thing is computerized. Completely redesigned. But they get shitty gas mileage. The avg MPG on city is 10! highway is 26. But hey, if I had the money I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Ten mpg?! My friend's Avalanche gets better mileage than that.

Anyway, if I was looking to spend as much money as it will be, I wouldn't be looking at Japanese cars.

I don't see how such a huge discrepancy in fuel economy is possible. Are you sure?

10 mpg from an ACURA?? That's so crappy for an acura. Hondas/Acuras are supposed to be fuel efficient.

I know Honda would never release a car with that poor fuel economy unless it was an F1 car or something. They are definitely committed to a greener environment.

I saw a white one on the 605 tonight with DLR plates.

I saw taillights I've never seen ahead and said, "OMG what beauty lies up ahead."

When I finally caught up I saw that it was the new RL.

The car looks 100x better in person compared to the impression I got from photos.

I went to acura.com, click on the 2005 RL on the bottom, new window pops up, click the "spec" tap on top, click fuel economy, and it says 18/26!

The new RL is hot A little off the topic but the new subtle styling of the RSX is hot as well. I just saw a commercial on tv showing it and it looks sweet.

I don't know what's with the older people. My brother and I believe that this car is worth every penny. My dad and relatives say this car is over priced. I asked them the only cars in this car's price range that would compare would be the E class and Lexus LS430. And they said they would take those two cars over the Acura. I guess Acura's name just isn't in the luxury class anymore. I love this car and I would take it over the benz or Lexus anyday.

Acura is pretty much on par with Lexus.
Mercedes/BMW/Jaguar are for me higher classes.
